Before You Switch Off for the Holidays… Try This

It’s the time of year where your brain’s already in “Christmas wind-down mode” 🎄

Wrapping up work for the end of the year can feel like a blur of to-dos, leftovers, and last-minute everything!

But the most important thing to remember? 👉 How you finish the year will shape how you start the next!

Not in a “hustle harder” way, in a clarity + calm + intention kind of way 🧘‍♀️

Before I log off for the year, I always do a final check-in with myself, and with clients, to ask:

🧳 What’s coming with me into 2025?
👋 What needs to be left behind?
✨ What do I want to feel in January, and how can I set that up now?

Starting the new year with a clean slate isn’t about buying a fancy planner or picking the perfect word-of-the-year. It’s about being honest with yourself: What’s actually working? What’s draining you? And what do you need to stay focused, supported, and consistent next year? 🤔

Most people skip this part. They’ll collapse into the holidays and hope that January magically brings motivation, energy, and a sense of direction. Spoiler: it rarely does!

⏱️ But if you take 10 minutes now, before the chaos fully sets in, you can create just enough space and breathing room to start next year with intention instead of overwhelm.

So grab a brew, open a fresh note or page, and give yourself a moment. It doesn’t need to be perfect. It just needs to be honest!

You’ve made it this far… let’s finish strong, not stressed 🥳

Organised Wishes,
Helen
